RAISE believes that the voluntary and community sector in the South East of England is an invaluable resource, with tremendous assets – physically, intellectually and socially. We want to help generate the most benefit for our communities from those assets.
We aim to act as a catalyst so that voluntary and community sector organisations in the South East can achieve more for their communities. Find out more about what this means in practice on the what we do pages.
Who we are
We want to make a difference to the ability of the sector to achieve its potential. We aim to focus on the things that really matter, to challenge thinking where necessary, and to work with our members and others to help the voluntary and community sector in the South East have the greatest impact.
While some of what we do can be done by RAISE alone, we see the greatest benefit of our work when it is done with others, both in the voluntary and community sector, and in statutory and private organisations. RAISE makes a difference because we bring people and ideas together where otherwise it would not have happened.
