Volunteering Development Workers (2)

Job Description:

We are recruiting two Volunteering Development Workers funded by the Big Lottery Fund, to develop a volunteer brokerage service to recruit volunteers for local organisations. One post will be responsible for Ash and the surrounding area and the other for Godalming and Cranleigh. The posts will be based in our offices in Farnham (for the Ash post) and Guildford (Godalming and Cranleigh post) but extensive travel across Guildford and Waverley, for which a mileage allowance will be paid, will be required. Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary. VASWS is recognised as an Investor in People. Salary Details:

£9,632 + 6% employer pension contribution for 18 hours per week

Person Description:

Knowledge of the voluntary sector is essential. Experience of working with volunteers, developing new services and outreach work will be an advantage. A sound understanding of equality and diversity issues is essential.
