RAISE held the first meeting of Healthwatch and Voluntary and Community Sector representatives on Health and Wellbeing boards across the South East Region on 5 November. This first meeting enabled participants to share their experiences of sitting on Health and Welbeing Boards and learn about models through which the voluntary and community sector can engage with boards and the pros and cons of each. Strategies for communicating with colleagues in the voluntary and community sector were explored and the key themes and issues affecting boards considered. The key findings will be shared via RAISE’s Health and Social Care network.
