 | Funding and Finance: Funding and Finance: Developing the Dialogue between the Public and Third Sectors in the South East
The ChangeUp Early Spend work in 2004 highlighted that funding and finance was a key concern for the third sector. Particular issues included procurement, full cost recovery, Local Area Agreements (LAAs), and the sharing of best practice and experience around these topics. In response to this, the South East Regional ChangeUp Consortium commissioned a Funding and Finance Programme (FFP) through RAISE. |

However, we are very disappointed that the consultative approach taken by CLG has ignored the Voluntary/Community Sector (VCS) in the events that it has hosted. The views within this response take into account comments received from the RAISE membership and include opinions developed from RAISE’s involvement in setting up a regional Equality and Diversity Network. |

The select committee will be scrutinising SEEDA’s work on maximising the potential of the region’s labour force and increasing employment opportunities for all. |
